“What’s this?”

If you’ve ever come down to our shop to dig and found a few odd and unfamiliar records that you had questions about, don’t be surprised if we simply replied with a shrug. It’s hard to say or even star to describe what we carry in the shop, but aside from all the classic go-to titles and easy sellers, we like taking chances on records that we might not be so familiar with, too. It might be intimidating for some, but the world of unknown is what keeps some of us asking for more and endless days of digging.

A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of having Clifton come down to pick up some records. We love Clifton, because he’s the kind of guy that will answer his own questions on these records with quick, rapid-fire-style listening session and whittle down his stack of records to what he wants, and what just won’t work for him.
